Growthspirit Trading Private Limited

Our Legacy

Growthspirit is built on the legacy of Sanghi Industries Limited, which ran one of India’s most significant industrial operations, including what was recognised as the world’s largest single-location, fully automatic cement plant. This is the story of what was built, and the foundation it created.

The Sanghi Industries Story

Sanghi Industries Limited operated the world's largest single-location, fully automatic cement plant, a fully integrated facility built in Sanghipuram, Kutch, Gujarat. From limestone mine to sea terminal, every part of the operation was designed, built, and run to a single standard, to one standard: quality without compromise, at a scale few companies in the world have achieved.

The Scale of What
Was Built

8.2 million tonnes a year of cement capacity

A fully integrated cement plant built to produce superior grade cement at the lowest cost of production, without ever compromising on quality.

6.1 MMTPA Clinker Plant

The clinker plant operated as the core of the facility, engineered for consistency, efficiency, and output at a scale that set the benchmark for the industry.

145 MW Captive Power Plant

A self-sufficient power facility that kept the whole operation independent of the grid, built for reliability.

1,543 Hectares Limestone Reserves

One of the largest limestone reserves operated by a single facility in India, extracted by surface mining, with no drilling and no blasting.

3 km conveyor belt

A precision-engineered conveyor system connecting the mines directly to the plant, built to move raw material at scale, efficiently and without interruption.

15 MW Waste Heat Recovery Plant

An award-winning, system that converted operational heat into clean power. It was inaugurated by Smt. Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, on 10 July 2015.

The Integrated Facility

Every component of the Sanghi Industries operation was built to work as one system from the mine to the mill to the sea.

The Plant

A fully automatic, multi-fuel integrated cement plant recognised as the world's largest single-location facility of its kind, built to operate at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The Power

A 145 MW captive thermal power plant that powered the entire operation independentl,so that output never depended on the grid.

The Mines

1,543 hectares of limestone reserves, extracted through eco-friendly surface mining, no drilling, no blasting, and a standard of environmental responsibility that earned consecutive national recognition.

The Port and Terminals

An all-weather captive jetty, two owned bulk cement carrier ships, and bulk terminals at Navlakhi and Kochi, built to move cement efficiently across India and beyond.

Geographic Reach

One plant in Kutch. Five states and three export regions.

From a single integrated facility in Kutch, Sanghi Industries built a distribution network that reached across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Kerala, with export markets extending into the Middle East, Africa, and across the Indian subcontinent. Bulk terminals at Navlakhi, Kochi, Dharamtar, and Tuticorin, alongside dedicated port facilities at Gujarat and Mumbai, meant that one plant could serve markets across the country and abroad.

Our Responsibility

Responsible building.
Not a policy. A practice.

Long before sustainability became a business priority, it was an operational standard at Sanghi Industries. Surface mining across 1,543 hectares — with no drilling, no blasting, and no compromise on the integrity of the surrounding environment. A 15 MW Waste Heat Recovery Plant that turned operational heat into clean power — inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat. And a campus where 400,000 plants now grow across land that was once arid and bare.
