Growthspirit Trading Private Limited

Investing in the places where we work. Since 1979.

Sanghi Industries did not establish a CSR programme. It established a way of operating, one that treated the land, the communities, and the people of Kutch as partners in everything it built. What follows is a four-decade record of that commitment.

Culture & Community

Building a community means building more than infrastructure.

Chess Championships

Sanghi Industries promoted Chess — India's oldest intellectual sport — by hosting World-level Chess Championship Matches at Sanghipuram. A company that operates in a community has a responsibility to that community's culture, not just its economy.

Sanghi Centre for Human Development

On September 7, 1996, the then Finance Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh laid the foundation stone of Aarodhan — the Sanghi Centre for Human Development at Sanghipuram.A centre built for people.

Dada and Dadi Park — Bhuj

A park built for senior citizens in Bhuj. Small in scale. Significant in intent. Infrastructure that says — we are thinking about everyone who lives here, not just those who work for us.

Our Legacy

Built in devotion.
Open to all.

What the Sanghi family built at Sanghinagar was not just industrial. In 1990, they built a spiritual home for the community that grew alongside them — the Sanghi Temple.

Constructed in the Chola-Chalukya style and completed in just 18 months, the Sanghi Temple was built with the blessings of Late Jagadguru Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya of Kanchipuram. Perched atop Paramananda Giri hill, 35 km from Hyderabad, it welcomes devotees through its grand Maha Dwaram beneath a towering Raja Gopuram — attracting over 15,000 visitors every single day.

  • Built in 1991 under the guidance of Shri Ram Sharan and Smt. Kamala Rani Sanghi
  • Constructed in Chola-Chalukya style with pristine white marble and intricate carvings
  • Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, Goddess Parvathi, and Lord Shiva — open to all, every day
Education

Building the next generation alongside the next plant.

Child education in surrounding villages began with Balwadis opened in Akri, Jadua, and Motiber. Adult education ran alongside child education from the start, because the Sarvodaya Trust understood that learning does not stop at school age.

Kamla Rani Sanghi Public School was established under the CBSE syllabus and recognised by the Gujarat Board, giving children of Kutch access to a national standard of education in one of India's most educationally underserved districts, where literacy rates ran 10% below Gujarat's already low average.

Culture and Community

When Kutch became
a canvas.

For ten days in the winter of 2016, Sanghipuram opened its doors to artists from across India. The Sanghi Live Art Fest, December 24, 2016 to January 2, 2017, brought live art, performance, and creative expression to the heart of Kutch.

COVID-19 Response · 2020 — 2021

When the pandemic reached Kutch, the response was immediate and at scale.

In 2020 and 2021, as COVID-19 spread across India, Sanghi responded the way it has always responded to the needs of the region it operates in — without hesitation and at full capacity.

  • 100-Bed COVID Centre - Established and operated in Naliya for six continuous months, providing care when the district's healthcare infrastructure was overwhelmed.
  • 400 Oxygen Cylinders - Procured and distributed to those who needed them most across the Kutch region.
  • COVID-19 Testing Machine - Donated to the Collector of Kutch District, giving the administration tools to manage the spread of the virus across the region.
  • Oxygen Concentrators - Donated to nearby government hospitals and public health centres — for the most vulnerable communities.
